Dynamic Airways Adds Boeing MD-88 to Fleet

MD-80Dynamic Aviation has announced it was approved by the Federal Aviation Administration to add a new Boeing MD-88 jet to its Air Carrier Certificate on May 4.

Dynamic Airways has expanded its fleet in response to the rapidly growing demand from international customers for long-term contracts in the leisure-travel market.

“We are extremely pleased with our success in adding this jet to our fleet and getting it set up on a long-term contract to support a new customer,” said Guy Cannady, Dynamic Airways COO. “We look forward to adding more aircraft to our fleet before the end of the year, as our operations continue to expand.”

The new Dynamic Aviation MD-88 can seat up to 150 passengers and is part of the McDonnell Douglas MD-80 family of twin-engine, medium-range, single-aisle commercial jet airliners that was introduced in the 1980s.

Launched last October, Dynamic Airways operates nonscheduled jet services for government and commercial customers around the world and is based at Smith Reynolds Airport in Winston-Salem, N.C.
